If you or someone you know would like to be baptized, or if you have a family member that you would like baptized, please call the Rectory at (802) 479-3253 to talk with a Priest. For a child, one preparation meeting with the parents is required. If you are interested in being baptized or becoming Catholic, you may want to inquire about our Adult Christian Initiation program. St. Monica Parish maintains a very active adult Christian initiation program called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The main purpose of this process is to assist prospective Catholics in their journey to become active members of the Church community. RCIA is for adults interested in learning about our Catholic Faith and possibly becoming Catholic and receiving the Sacraments, as well as baptized Catholics who have not been Confirmed and/or have not celebrated the Sacrament of Holy Communion. RCIA inquiry and instruction sessions are held on scheduled Wednesday evenings starting in the month of September. The Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, are celebrated during our parish Easter Vigil. Please call the Rectory for more details 802-479-3253.
